Job Description
- Maintain current equipment used for cutting large quantities of Asian style meat for retail sales in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible
- Analyze the needs of the company to determine additional equipment necessary to expand food processing department.
- Work with President to implement changes in food processing necessary for increased inventory.
- Recommend modifications to existing machines as well as possible alternatives or additions to increase ability to increase both inventory and production.
- Source and/or design new equipment necessary to expand business to include additional inventory, including vegetables and fruit as well as additional styles of sliced meat as required.
- Maintain and test equipment, including adjusting machinery as necessary to meet requirements for specialty orders
- Provide training regarding the use of both current and new equipment to ensure proper use as well as adequate safety precautions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Alternate sets of Education, Training, and/or Experience are Not acceptable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge in rotating assemblies, power transmissions, gearing, bearings, fits, finishes, and material selection.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to allow for expansion of available inventory.
- Willingness to do hand-on work and other tasks as necessary.
- Familiarity with International cuisine and cooking styles, including specialized cutting styles for meats, vegetables, and fruits.
- Strong communication skills.
No requirements for License/Certification, Foreign Language, Residency/Fellowship.

Compensation:
Base Salary $65,000.00 + (Annually)
